Syeda Asad O.D., completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry in 2016. She earned a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from DePaul University in Chicago in 2010.
Dr. Asad ‘s interest in primary eye care includes the management of diabetes and other retinal diseases, dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, and fitting contact lenses. She is intrigued by how an eye exam can diagnose so many medical conditions and feels grateful to help people improve their vision and overall health. Her interest in optometry is sparked by her fascination with the human body, particularly the eyes.
Dr. Asad is committed to making eye care accessible to all of her patients and actively participates in community outreach programs. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Asad is dedicated to staying up to date on the latest advancements in optometry and is passionate about offering the highest quality eye care to her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Asad enjoys traveling and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their one-year-old.
